Candle Making 2010

Due to the snow and ice, the Senior Friends candle making for Christmas 2010 has been rescheduled for 8:30 am on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 and Wednesday, March 3, 2010.  All members who are able are encouraged to come help make the candles we will need.

Chicken Pies

The Women’s Fellowship plans to make chicken pies on Monday and Tuesday, February 8th and 9th and again on February 22nd and 23rd at 8:30 am.  As usual, we will make and roll pie dough on Monday and cook, debone, and cut up the chicken and make the pies on Tuesday.  We look forward to having lots of help from both men and women.  Those who come enjoy a wonderful morning together. 

Ash Wednesday

Lent begins on Wednesday, February 17, 2010.  Everyone is invited to gather at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary to share communion as we begin this season of focusing on Jesus’ sacrifice so that we can be forgiven of our sins and be reconciled to God.
